Silva Vermillion Sowers LLC d/b/a SVS Mechanical ("SVS", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the SVS Mechanical Sub-Contractor Portal (the "Portal") and our related SMS messaging, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information provided by your employer or SVS coordinator: your name, work email address, and mobile phone number.
- Authentication data: one-time codes sent to your email or phone, and timestamps of sign-in events.
- Job-related content you submit: time entries, notes, photos, and checklist responses associated with jobs assigned to you.
- Technical information: standard server logs (IP address, browser user-agent, request timestamps) used to operate and secure the Portal.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information above to:
- Authenticate you to the Portal via one-time codes.
- Coordinate, document, and bill work performed on jobs you are assigned to.
- Communicate with you about specific jobs (e.g., assignment notifications, schedule changes).
- Maintain the security and integrity of the Portal.
- Comply with applicable legal and tax obligations.
3. SMS Messaging Privacy
Mobile phone numbers collected for SMS authentication and operational messaging are used solely for those purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in status with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with our SMS delivery provider (Twilio) strictly for the purpose of delivering the messages you have consented to receive.
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send, or by signing in with your email address instead.
4. How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to operate the Portal and our business:
- Service providers: cloud hosting (Microsoft Azure), SMS delivery (Twilio), and email delivery providers, each acting on our behalf under appropriate agreements.
- Your employer (the sub-contracting company): we share information related to work performed under that company's engagement with SVS.
- Legal compliance: when required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to operate the Portal, to document work performed for tax and contractual purposes, and to comply with our legal obligations. When no longer needed, information is deleted or anonymized.
6. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information in our care, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), authenticated sessions, and role-based access controls. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Choices
- Access & correction: you can request a copy or correction of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at the address below.
- SMS opt-out: reply STOP to any SMS or sign in via email.
- Account deactivation: contact your SVS coordinator or email us at info@svshvac.com.
8. Children
The Portal is intended for adult sub-contractor employees. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
